Fully Commissioned Sales – The fees that the
brokers/agents generally charge (when you’re
paying “full price”) are usually between 6% - 7% of

for).

Discount Commissioned Sales – generally about
half of what you would pay in a fully commissioned
sale – about 3% or 4%. The real estate people will
give you a discount for a variety of reasons. They
may be getting 3%-4% from the buyers or they
may be new to the real estate game and want to
attract new customers by discounting their rates.
